Upside Down Cake
Melt 1/4 lb. butter in a frying pan. Add 1 cup brown sugar and mix thoroughly. Into this place rings of pineapple. Then put cake top on and bake 1 hour in a slow oven. Turn upside down on a platter to serve.
Cake Top
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 5 tbs pineapple juice
Mix this thoroughly. Last add the whites of eggs beaten stiff.
