Christmas Cookies (Dora)
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Mix shortening + sugar, heat until sugar is almost melted. Cool. Add rest of ingredients. Chill. Roll very thin.
